The John & Sara Murphy Foundation is dedicated to empowering nonprofit organizations to maximize their impact. While we work with nonprofits across various sectors, we primarily serve organizations in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on initiatives that foster growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for a grant, your organization must:

• Nonprofit Status: Be recognized as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
• Alignment with Mission: Propose projects that align with our focus areas, including healthcare access, emergency response, education, and community development.

Application Process

1. Letter of Inquiry (LOI): Submit a concise LOI outlining your organization’s mission, the proposed project, its objectives, and the amount of funding requested.
2. Review and Decision: Submissions are thoughtfully reviewed on a quarterly basis. You will receive updates on the status of your application as we move through the process.
